Siamese cats can be haughty, but they are also highly social, intelligent and very chatty, whether you want them to be or not.
They can get on well with other animals, so having one more cat can help with the chattiness. Very active cats, but do love a good snuggle. Like to part of the family, sitting beside their family, often chilled, chatty and cuddly. Usually great for households where there are children and other pets.
The clever Siamese can get into mischief with a curious mindset. Toys can help keep your Siamese entertained.
Short coat, fine and glossy. Easily distinguished by their colours, with point colouring which means ears, feet and tails can be darker than the body colour. Body colour is usually light and on the white/cream shades, but other patterns and variations can occur.
Can be prone to respiratory illnesses, eye and tooth issues, along with heart and bladder issues as they age. Crossed eyes can be fairly common.
Minimal shedding due to short dense coat. May like to be groomed, requires less work than long haired breeds.
It’s important to feed a balanced diet.
